In Charge For a Day

Greetings. Well I am due to publish my next post and poll immanently. I have many, many ideas however would really appreciate some feedback regarding which issues are close to other peoples hearts.

If you have a moment have a think about what issues concern you, what would you like to see changed about the world, and leave me a comment about it. Or maybe you don't think anything needs changing? Either way I would really love to hear your thoughts and will post about any point raised however far fetched or unrealistic it may seem.

Put yourself in the position of world leader for the day and let rip, if you turn out to be Zaphod Beeblebrocks, embrace the extra head and think big!

    In charge for a day.
    I would stop the Government and all authorities, from the massive wasting of monies that they have access to, via over taxing the population.
    Example Setting up feasibility studies, ID cards, HIPs, personal taxation for every mile you drive, and by using external consultants.Then receiving feedback that it will not work.

Social Screening?

Ok , here's the first topic, I'm starting simple. We have all at some point been subject to one form of social screening, whether it is our car insurance company upping our premium on receipt of our postcode, or our bank or credit card company rating our risk as a fraudster or potential debtor by means of our housing type, marital status or income. My topic for discussion today sees this system taken one step further. Call centres have begun to tag particular numbers within their customer databases in order to differentiate between 'less desirable' and 'more desirable' customers. Callers who are deemed to be more affluent are often dealt with as a priority. You as the customer are being assessed, classified and dealt with accordingly.
